Frequently asked questions
Chronicles of Forgotten Gods is an epic fantasy series with horror elements written and illustrated by Jan Amato. The series follows four characters across two worlds as they are wrapped into a war of gods threatening to destroy all they know. With no guidance beyond a few words offered by the god of Time and gut feelings, the main four are thrust into the middle of a plot spanning worlds, time, and all between.
The first portion of the series will consist of four books with the occasional short story or novella placed between major installments. Currently, the only published parts of the series are Godsworn, the first book, and a short story titled Of Ash, which takes place thirteen years before Godsworn begins. Book two of the series [redacted] is currently in production, with a tentative pub date sitting somewhere in early 2029.
Chronicles of Forgotten Gods consists of two parts: the mainline series and a collection of short stories, novellas, and extra content provided on the side.
The extra content is extra. It is not required to understand the main series. While they are not required and will not answer any of the Chronicle's major questions, information shared in extra content may provide additional context, parts of mysteries, and otherwise that would be missed in the main series.
